The Delizie Cerchio collection, another whimsical addition to the Giardino delle delizie series designed by Cristina Celestino, reimagines the classic circle as a precious, gem-like wall covering. Inspired by the decorative grottos of Renaissance gardens, these tiles are designed to be “isolated silhouettes” that can be arranged freely to create sophisticated, non-repeating geometric patterns. Exclusively available in Glossy and matt glazes, they offer a playful way to experiment with color and light, as seen in acclaimed hospitality projects like the Palazzo Experimental in Venice.
Each Delizie Cerchio unit is a round disk with a slim 1 cm thickness. Unlike traditional tiles that interlock, these circles are often used to create a rhythmic “polka dot” effect or more complex, jewelry like wall compositions. Their handmade glazed finish ensures that each piece has a unique character, perfect for adding a touch of Italian “alchemy” and artistic flair to any interior feature wall.
